Recreate the original Coca-Cola recipe at home with this syrup made from citrus peels, spices, and sugar. Mix with sparkling water for a homemade soda.

- 100 mlWater
- 1Lemon Zestzest of 1 lemon
- 1Lime Zestzest of 1 lime
- 1Orange Zestzest of 1 orange
- 1 tbspGround GingerIf using fresh ginger, use about half a clove of medium-sized garlic
- 2 tbspCoriander Seeds
- 1 tbspSemi di Anice
- 1 pcsStecca di Cannella
- Colorante Nero e Marroneto taste
- Sparkling Waterto taste
Method
- Prepare the "dark matter": mix the orange, lime, and lemon zests, ginger, coriander seeds, anise seeds, and cinnamon stick.
- In a pot, bring water and sugar to a boil to make a syrup.
- Add the "dark matter" to the syrup and let it infuse.
- Filter the mixture to remove the spices.
- Add black and brown food coloring to taste.
- To serve, mix the syrup with sparkling water to taste.
