A classic Italian no-bake chocolate dessert shaped like a salami, made with cocoa, crushed cookies, butter, eggs, coffee, rum, and almonds. Perfect for a sweet treat from the freezer.

Ingredients
8 items- 100 gUnsweetened CocoaBitter cocoa powder
- 120 gSugarGranulated sugar
- 120 gMelted ButterMelted butter
- 2 pcsWhole EggsLightly beaten
- AlmondsToasted almonds, added whole or chopped
- 2 pcsCoffeeSmall cups of strong espresso
- 1 pcsRumSmall cup of rum
- 200 gPlain BiscuitsDry biscuits, crumbled
Method
- Toast the almonds in a pan until golden.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and lightly beaten eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Let the almonds cool, then add them to the mixture.
- Add the two small cups of espresso coffee and the small cup of rum. Mix well.
- Crumble the dry biscuits into the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
- If the mixture feels too liquid, add more crushed biscuits to achieve a workable consistency.
- Place the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper, roll into a log shape. Transfer to plastic wrap, seal tightly like a candy wrapper, and twist the ends.
- Refrigerate (or freeze) for at least 3 hours until firm.
- Remove from plastic wrap, dust with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
