The story
Tucked away in the Marche countryside, Agriturismo L’Antico Gusto is a rustic, no-frills spot where the focus stays squarely on the plate. Food blogger Sentieri Golosi calls the antipasto here “gigante,” noting that the “Antipasto Misto della Casa alone is a meal.” Everything is homegrown and homemade, from the giardiniera to the wine, with generous portions at reasonable prices.
Beyond that huge starter, the kitchen turns out excellent Marchigiana beef—particularly the Tagliata di Vitellone Marchigiano—alongside Gnocchi Indiavolati, a mixed grill of pork and lamb, and a Zuppa Inglese to finish. House-made biscottini with vincotto and mistrà cap things off. This family-friendly agriturismo delivers a genuine, hearty taste of local life.

AI summary of what 18 dish mentions say about the food
Reviewers rave about the luscious Zuppa inglese, with its creamy layers stealing the show. The overall vibe is one of rustic, heartfelt warmth, where every dish feels like a loving tribute to tradition.
“This zuppa inglese is 'maialosa' — there's a ton of cream and chocolate in it. It's substantial, good, and different. The consistency is rich, my body said 'yes, this is good'. It's chocolatey and not bad at all.”

ANTIPASTO GIGANTE e cucina marchigiana autentica in questo agriturismo sperduto · @ 1:18
A fantastic agriturismo in the Marche region serving huge, authentic, homemade portions of traditional local cuisine at very reasonable prices — the antipasto alone is a meal, and the Marchigiana beef is excellent.

Gnocchi Indiavolati
These are gnocchi with sausage, cream, chili, and tomato. The portion is huge, like two generous servings. The sausage is very good, the sauce is very good, the gnocchi are cloud-like, but it's not spicy at all — they're relaxed, not really 'indiavolati'. The gnocchi are handmade, you can tell, but I prefer them a bit more melt-in-your-mouth. Still, it's a good dish, not outstanding but good.
Tagliata di Vitellone Marchigiano
This is a sliced beef steak from their own Marchigiana cattle, seasoned with bay leaf and rosemary. The meat quality is very good — tender without being overly tender, it still has a bit of chew, very flavorful, juicy, excellent quality. I'm a bit disappointed because we couldn't buy the raw meat to take home, but the dish itself is really good. If you come here, definitely try the beef, it's truly excellent.
Grigliata Mista con Maiale e Agnello
We got a mixed grill with pork and lamb. Both meats are cooked very well, but the lamb is outstanding — really rich in flavor. The pork is also not dry at all, very juicy and good, but the lamb is just incredible. I give both pork and lamb 100%. The sausage is also good.
Zuppa Inglese
This zuppa inglese is 'maialosa' — there's a ton of cream and chocolate in it. It's substantial, good, and different. The consistency is rich, my body said 'yes, this is good'. It's chocolatey and not bad at all.
An incredible hidden agriturismo in the Marche hills where everything is homegrown and homemade, from the giardiniera to the wine, offering generous portions of genuine, traditional dishes at unbeatable prices.

Antipasto Misto
A Spartan appetizer, but you can already see the genuineness and craftsmanship. The giardiniera is homemade, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The cured meats include prosciutto, lonzino, coppa di testa with almond flakes – very flavorful. The salami and cheeses with jams and honey are simple but well-made. The ricottina with jam is delicate and good. You can tell everything is produced by them.
Fagiolino con le Cotiche
Beans with pork rinds. The rind is very tender, a sign it's cooked perfectly. The beans are well-cooked. I can't taste much today, but it's honest, nothing exceptional but well made.
Lasagna
A different lasagna from the usual: made with ricotta, mozzarella and a meat sauce, no béchamel. You can see it's homemade today, the ingredients are fresh. The pasta is cooked well, nothing like the last lasagna we had. For €7 (in the fixed-price menu) it's amazing.
Ravioli Ricotta e Limone con Burro Fuso
A large ravioli with ricotta and lemon, simply dressed with melted butter. It's very delicate, the ricotta is top quality and the lemon stands out pleasantly. Really pleasant, and for €7 I think it's a steal.
Ascolana Olives
It's not the classic Ascolana olive made in a spiral: this one is cut in half and stuffed. But it's good, the filling is flavorful, the olive is nice and big. The smell is very good. Maybe not the traditional technique, but I liked it.
