The sorbetto al limone is the standout dish, praised for its vibrant, palate-cleansing simplicity. Overall, reviewers describe aMare’s food as fresh, bright, and effortlessly satisfying.

This lemon sorbet is nice and refreshing. It has fine particles of ice, but also a very strong taste and flavor of lemon. A nice and light dessert.

A small, cozy seafood spot that completely blew me away with the quality of the food — fresh ingredients and skilled preparation made for an outstanding lunch.

    Dishes mentioned

    • Braciola con Salmone

This is a small appetizer they served before my food. It's made of rice infused with salmon, with some spicy mayo on top. As soon as I touched it with my fork, it broke apart. It's quite delicious and tasty, a little bit spicy from the mayo.

    • Insalata di Polpo e Patate

This is probably the best served and best looking octopus salad I've seen and tried so far. It has a beautiful slice of lemon on top, some rucola around it, and olive oil drizzled everywhere. The octopus is perfect, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The olive oil is amazing. It's very simple but outstanding. The octopus texture is truly amazing, so soft and easy to chew, but also has a bit of pleasant chewiness. Some mild spices used on it. The potato is also perfect. Rucola, potato, octopus, olive oil — very simple but true perfection.

    • Bistecca di Tonno alla Griglia

This is a huge tuna steak. It smells absolutely delicious and radiates with heat because it was just grilled. It has perfect caramelization on the surface, plenty of olive oil on top, some onion as a side, and some basil oil as well. It's pure perfection on a plate. It tastes as good as it looks or probably even better. It's incredible, so juicy. The texture is perfect, you really enjoy chewing this. It has minimum things added, probably some salt and olive oil, but it's incredibly tasty. I tried it with the red onion from Tropea, which is caramelized and quite sweet, and it changes completely the taste of the tuna. The grilled zucchini is also tasty and juicy, and compliments the tuna nicely.

    • Sorbetto al Limone

This lemon sorbet is nice and refreshing. It has fine particles of ice, but also a very strong taste and flavor of lemon. A nice and light dessert.
