We came to Bar Civili to taste the ponce livornese, part of the great family of corrected coffees. Very similar to the cremaet from Valencia, but the ponce is much older, born from the Livornine laws. It's a drink made with coffee, rum, sugar, and lemon zest — basically a variation of English punch. Good, very good. It's the classic drink that warms your soul and liver.
