AI summary of what 9 dish mentions say about the food

Reviewers at Tokyo Pop rave about the Tuna Roll, praising its fresh, buttery texture. The overall vibe is one of simple, high-quality comfort food that consistently delivers.

I tried the Combo Roll and I give it a 7. It's decent but nothing special.
Secondo Luca👎
This one has fried shrimp inside, and I can see a black spot — that's the intestine that wasn't removed, so they didn't clean the shrimp properly. I tried to pull it out but it didn't come out well. The tobiko is all over the surface here, unlike the other roll where it was only on one side. I prefer this one a bit more, maybe because I'm not a huge fan of red tuna, but it still tastes average — like a standard everyday roll. I tasted it without soy sauce first, then added it. Still, too much rice and too little filling.

Sushi nel tubo: idea geniale o totale fallimento? · @ 0:00

Tokyo Pop in Milan is a disappointing copy of an American sushi-in-a-tube concept: the fish is poor quality, the rice is too cold and hard, the portions are tiny for the price (€15 per tube), and the service made mistakes without apologizing — overall a scam, not worth the money.

The tuna is very cold, way too cold. The rice seems almost undercooked — too al dente. And the tuna looks dark, not a great colour. The cut is uneven, diagonal, not clean. There's condensation inside the tube, which means the product was put in warm and then sealed and chilled — that's a bacterial risk. The tobiko eggs are crunchy and savoury but don't have much flavour. Overall, too much rice and too little filling.

    • Mister Scott Roll

This is supposed to be seared tuna marinated in teriyaki sauce with tobiko. But it's still very, very cold — too cold. The tuna doesn't look like it has a good colour. When I opened it, I noticed the sear is barely there — just a tiny bit on the edge. I expected more of a tataki style. The portion is small. And again, there's fish on top but not underneath — same old story. Too cold, the rice should be served at body temperature. For €15, where's the fish?

    • Salmon Avocado Roll

This one was made to order, and you can feel the difference immediately — it's not as cold as the ones that were sitting on the counter. The rice temperature is incredible, warm. Look how beautiful it is. This is good. With soy sauce, it's world-class. The salmon and avocado combo works well. This is the one I'd recommend if you really want to try this place — but even then, don't expect to be fully satisfied.
