Delicious puff pastry boats filled with a tartare of smoked salmon, chives, and crème fraîche. Perfect as a festive appetizer or for an aperitif.

Ingredients

- Smoked Salmon1 fillet
- Chivesto taste, chopped
- Sour Creamor crème fraîche
- Lemon Zestzest of 1 lemon
Method
- Cut the puff pastry using two round cutters of different sizes: one for the base and one for the borders.
- Bake in a static oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut the smoked salmon fillet into small cubes.
- Season the salmon cubes with chopped chives, crème fraîche (or sour cream), and lemon zest to make the tartare.
- Fill the baked puff pastry boats with the salmon tartare.
- Optionally, use leftover trimmings to make small bites: fill with half an anchovy fillet, fold into semicircles, and bake until crispy.
