A seafood twist on the classic puttanesca, with fresh squid, red mullet, and prawns cooked in a spicy tomato sauce with capers and olives.

Ingredients

- King Prawnslarge prawns
- Olive Oilextra virgin olive oil
- 1 pcsGarlicclove, in its skin
- 2 pcsChili Peppersfresh red chili peppers, chopped
- Capersa handful
- Taggiasca OlivesTaggiasca olives
- Salta pinch
- Peppera sprinkle
- Tomato Passatatomato passata (strained tomatoes)
- Spaghettonithick spaghetti
- Parsleyfresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Method
- Cut the fresh squid into thin rings.
- Fillet the red mullet (or ask your fishmonger to do it).
- Clean the prawns, removing head, shell, and intestinal vein.
- In a pan, add a drizzle of oil, a clove of garlic in its skin, the prawn legs, two chopped chili peppers, a handful of capers, and Taggiasca olives.
- Add the squid, red mullet, and prawns to the pan and sauté.
- Season with a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of pepper.
- Add the tomato passata, mix, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Cook the spaghetti until al dente.
- Chop the parsley.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce.
- Add chopped parsley, a drizzle of oil, and toss to combine.
- Plate the spaghetti and serve.
